Well it might not actually be "bombproof" but it sure does feel like it!! When I first started working with kydex, it was said to be impossible to make a sheath out of .125"(1/8") thick kydex. I messed around with it for a while, and figured out what needed to be done to get it done right!

You can see how much thicker .125" kydex is, compared to the standard .093" kydex. The edge that is sealed together with the eyelets, is a whopping 1/4" thick!!
